I designed a poster for the Fira del Vi i Mercat de Nadal that incorporates a work by Marcel Duchamp as the central element. Specifically, I used his iconic wine bottle rack, which I painted green to create a dual reference: on one hand, it directly symbolizes the wine-focused aspect of the fair, and on the other, the green color and the object’s shape evoke the image of a Christmas tree. This conceptual approach allowed me to merge the two main themes of the event—wine and the festive season—into a single, striking visual. The design balances artistic reference with functional communication, making it both thought-provoking and representative of the event’s spirit.
