1. La Naturalesa del Píxel

Barcelona / 2023

La Naturalesa del Píxel acts as an artistic testimony to make visible the relevance and need to reconnect nature with postmodern society. Therefore, the objective of the project is to give birth to a set of pieces that delve into the theme, which is reflected from an appreciative look towards the nature of my hometown, Ullastrell.

The project has been carried out from a nostalgic and personal point of view using methods based on digital and analog techniques, which have allowed the creation of a dialogue between the digital world and the natural world.

The final pieces are the result of this combination between digital techniques, applied to natural elements, and analog techniques, worked with digitized aesthetics. In attention to this methodology, mainly, the graphic experimentation has been carried out with serigraphy, scanner, photography and stop motion. Thus, the project emphasizes the potential that design acquires as a bridging process between virtual elements and natural components.

Therefore, I have created pieces that preserve and pay homage to the natural environment, and essentially to my roots. In this way, it is encouraged to reflect on the personal relationship of each individual with the natural environment that surrounds them.

With Andrea López

Graphic and editorial design for this project, which addresses environmental issues in marine ecosystems, focusing on adaptation and conservation in Port de la Selva.

It explores the integration of artificial plant species, designed using an iterative process of observation, diagramming, and digital modeling, to mitigate climate change impacts and spark discussions on technology, synthetic biology, and ethics in environmental protection.

3. Festa Major d’Ullastrell

Ullastrell / 2023

Every year, the Ullastrell town hall launches an exciting competition to select the cover of the Festa Major program, a tradition that celebrates the identity and culture of our community. In 2023 I had the privilege of being chosen as the creator of the winning covers, an achievement that fills me with satisfaction and pride.

Designing the cover of a festival program is an exciting and rewarding challenge. Each design must capture the essence of the celebration, reflecting the diversity and joy that characterize our local events. During these two years, I channeled my passion for design into creating covers that were not only visually attractive, but also conveyed the spirit of the Festa Major.

4. Llego Type

Barcelona / 2023

In this project, I decided to explore the fusion of two seemingly disparate elements: typography and Lego pieces.

The process was meticulous and required patience and attention to detail. Piece by piece, I built each letter and character of the typography, taking care of the shape and color of each element. Each Lego piece was assembled with precision to create the letters and symbols, and this process was carefully documented as it progressed.

Once I had all the letters and symbols ready, it was time to bring my typography to life. To do this, I decided to use the Stop Motion technique. In this way, I was able to record the complete process of construction and deconstruction of each letter, from its birth to its disappearance.

After completing this exciting creative odyssey of Lego typography in Stop Motion, I decided to use the typography I had created as a central element in a series of posters.

5. Jazz Posters

Terrassa / 2022
With Baku Disseny i Creativitat

In this project I have created a series of posters that capture the essence of some of the most iconic Jazz songs of all time.

The starting point of this project was simple but profound: taking the sheet music of these legendary songs and transforming them into a unique visual expression. To achieve this, I immersed myself in the score of each of the songs, meticulously breaking down each note. Each musical note became a color, and thus, the scores were transformed into vivid and vibrant color palettes.

Inspired by the staff that is so intrinsic to the musical world, I designed a five-column grid for each poster. This grid not only pays homage to the staff, but also provides a solid structure for organizing the colors that represent the musical notes.

The final result of this creative process is a series of six unique posters, each one representing one of the most legendary songs in the history of Jazz. Through the fusion of music and art, I have sought to honor and celebrate the richness of Jazz and its enduring influence on the world of music.
